Well, this post is too late to get my picks in for the Dallas game. That's good though, because I would have missed both picks. I would have bet Carolina however, and won that one. However, they don't count, due to Hurricane Joaquin, keeping me in The Bahamas for 2 extra days with no working phone, and I didn't think to take the laptop with me either. More on the vacation in a future blog post or 2....or more! That said, I'm going to pick the game and the total tonight, and then 4 picks next week to get me back to an average of 3 per week.
Last week was rough, with Dallas losing and the total going over. I was correct on Arizona, giving me a 1-2 record and leaving me at 3-5-1 on the season.
In the game tonight, I like Seattle at home. They're tough to beat at home, and even giving 10 points, I think they can handle a Detroit team that's been streaky at best. I'm going with the over as well, as I think Detroit can score enough to make a game of it, before Seattle eventually runs away on them.
