I am posting my week 3 picks a little early, as I'm leaving on vacation first thing Saturday morning and want to get this out of the way so I can focus on The Bahamas, the beach, drinking, and packing for vacation!!
That said, let's get with this thing! Week 2 saw a major improvement, with a 2-1-0 record, bringing my overall record to 2-3-1. Still a losing record, but getting better.
Right now, Dallas is a 2 point underdog to Atlanta on Bovada. With no Tony Romo, and no Dez Bryant, Dallas is hurting. Jason Witten is also banged up. That said, I'm putting my faith in the Cowboys this week. I went against them last week and that was my only loss. Atlanta is tough, but I think the Dallas offensive line will protect well, the defense will get after Atlanta, and Brandon Wheeden will be prepared for this start. He didn't look great coming into the last game, but most quarterbacks don't when coming in cold as a backup.
Dallas wins this game outright. Dallas +2 is the pick.
The O/U is set at 45. Points will likely be at a premium in this game. I see a low scoring game, a little higher than the Dallas/Philly game, with a final score of 24-17. I'm picking the under.
For my third game, I'm picking the Arizona/San Francisco game. The line is Arizona -6.5. Arizona took down a weak New Orleans team in week 1, and destroyed Chicago in a revenge game for Bruce Arians in week 2. I think they continue winning, and cover the spread. Arizona -6.5 is my pick.

didn't Wheeden go 7 for 7 after coming in for Romo last week. Its going to be a tough game but if I am right on that stat and if it means anything at all I think Dallas is a good pick. I think however San Fran comes back very strong after that embarassing shelacking they took last week. They are gonna be out for blood.
