Week 1 was rough, going 0-2-1. Thankfully, that means I can only go up, right?
Week 2 sees Dallas visiting Philadelphia fresh off a come from behind, last second victory over the New York Giants. Philly lost their opener to Atlanta 26-24. Dallas lost Dez Bryant, their #1 WR, to a broken ankle. He will be out anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks, depending upon who you believe.
Currently the line is Dallas +5. As much as I like to believe they will keep it close, it's going to be tough without Dez Bryant. The Eagles were able to keep Atlanta in check for the first half last week, but I have to believe they'll be a little more prepared for Dallas and their division rivals. My pick is Philly -5.
The O/U is set at 55. I see a final score in the area of 27-20. I'm picking the under here.
My 3rd game of the week is Carolina (-3) against Houston. Carolina has a tenacious defense that should be able to keep the Texans in check, similar to Kansas City last week.
In conclusion, my wagers this week are:
Philly -5
Philly/Dallas under 55
Carolina -3
