Car problems and home game poker

Well, after getting home from Las Vegas late Thursday night, I used Friday and Saturday to get my homework for the week finished.  Saturday I had an invite to go play poker....but I noticed an issue with my car.  It wasn't starting well.  After a trip to Autozone, where they determined it might be the alternator, I went to a local shop that was actually open.  They tested a little more thoroughly, and determined everything was fine except maybe the battery.  Ok, let's go to Wal-Mart for a new battery(they install it free when you buy it there, and while I could do it, it was dark and I do not have a garage or good outside lighting).  They found major corrosion on one of the terminals, and had to replace one of the connectors.  Once they replaced it, cleaned everything, and re-connected the battery, it tested great and worked fine.  So an $80 battery turned into a $5 part....nice, a cheap fix!!  So I decided to go ahead and go play some poker.  I know the host well enough, and some of the guys there, but some are a little....hot-headed.  And, one of them was drunk and high, and bragging about how much he enjoys going out and picking fights.  Basically, not an environment I was comfortable in, as my LAG play might not be looked upon too fondly.  I needed to leave by a certain time anyhow, since I had to work Sunday morning.  I ran my $50 buy-in up to $138, and cashed out.  Not sure I'll be back....it was profitable, and may continue to be, but I wasn't too comfortable there.  Back to the regular schedule this week....class on Tuesday night, work Saturday-Thursday, and Poker at the local Amvets Thursday night.
